Jon Fox-Rubin, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer
A cofounder of Fiberforge, Dr. Fox-Rubin has filled business development, COO, and CEO roles for the Company as it has grown and adjusted its strategy. To date he has been responsible for arranging and securing equity financing for the Companys startup and operations. Prior to the founding of Fiberforge Jon worked for Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), an energy and policy think tank. Jon earned both a masters and a PhD in mechanical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technologys Sloan Automotive Laboratory. There he concentrated on the reduction of cold-start emissions for a consortium comprised of Ford, Chrysler, Renault, PSA Peugeot Citroën, & GM, and also on market-based approaches to abating air pollution for the U.S. DOT. While at the Sloan Automotive Laboratory he received the Cummins Engine Company Fellowship. In all, Dr. Fox-Rubin has more than 15 years of industry experience including front-line service work as a trained and ASE-certified automotive technician. Dr. Fox-Rubin also worked in the aerospace industry at Dornier, GmbH and at the University of Colorado's Center for Space Construction.
David Cramer, Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Cramer is one of the Companys cofounders and, like Dr. Fox-Rubin, was an employee of the Rocky Mountain Institute. There he conducted composites research, consulted for automakers worldwide, and in 1998 managed the formation of a 17-member industrial consortium to identify technical feasibility and business potential of the hypercar concept. As a member of the Companys development team, Mr. Cramer has secured strategic partnerships and is instrumental in developing and protecting the Companys patented and patent-pending intellectual property. He received a BA magna cum laude and a BEng with high honors from Dartmouth College, where he was awarded the Colligan Memorial Prize for Excellence in Materials Science.
Michael Skinner, Business Development
Mr. Skinner founded Composites Consultants, which helps customers understand manufacturing methods, materials choice, and cost implications associated with advanced composites. He formed Entec Composites Machines, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zoltek companies (Nasdaq:ZOLT) as part of a merger of Composites Machines Company, Inc. (which he founded) with Engineering Technology, Inc. (where he was previously President). Mr. Skinner has over 20 years' experience in the composites industry and has published numerous papers in the subject. Mr. Skinner has helped Fiberforge implement its tailored blank technical solution and is now focused on creating customers for Fiberforge.
